‘I dare you to take love to its ultimate conclusion.’
Phil 1:10 The Mirror Translation

Oneness with God

…that God may be all in all, everything to everyone.

This is a lengthy update, just to warn you. I cannot speak about such glorious truths in a few paragraphs and communicate effectively what I am seeing these days; I have been so redefined, so transformed these past few years. We have been gathering monthly for over a year now, but only started to share these truths publicly the past month or two really, and your response is so encouraging. It is obvious to me that we are connected together and as I share my heart the resounding agreement in yours assures me that we are family on a wonderfully exciting journey at this point in time.

Many have asked if I could attempt to put into writing…

True Freedom

True Freedom.

Let the Son set you free.

Whom the Son sets free, is FREE INDEED(John 8:36). The main theme of the New Testament, and of Jesus’ coming is to reveal God as our Abba, and we are Abba’s children! The realization of SONSHIP sets us free, free indeed.

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

1. Lies.

So often, people are kept in bondage because they believe lies about themselves. When the twelve spies were sent out to spy out the Promised Land, they came back with a total wrong definition of their own identity: “The people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendents of Anak there. We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them” (Numbers 13:28, 33).

I am so sure that was a quote of a total misunderstood self-worth and a low self-esteem expression, because I have heard the voice of what the reality is:

David, when also faced with giants, spoke out the truth-with the voice as a beloved son-in the midst of the intimidating shouting of the giant: “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”(1 Samuel 17:45-47)

Maybe it’s time to stop allowing anyone other than Truth to tell us who we are!

When you are confronted with the truth, the voice of the Beloved Son, you will know that:

1 What you did,

2 what others did to you,

3 what you think about yourself,

4 what others think about you,

5 what you say about yourself,

6 what others say about you

DON’T define you! You are freed from all those above!

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

2. Behold the Truth.

· As Jesus IS, so are you in this world. (1 John 4:17.) [What is true about the Jesus now, is true about you.]

· Jesus Christ is the last Adam. (1 Corinthians 15:22,45.Romans 5:12-21.) [What has happened to Jesus, has happened to you simultaneously.]

Truth is truth because God said so.
Truth is truth not by popular votes, even if only God believes it, it is still the truth.
Truth is truth before we found it and it was still truth no matter we knew it or not, felt it or not, experienced it or not.
Jesus is the truth, openly displayed. He is the truth about you. Jesus is our for ever high priest and representative.
Jesus is: what God believes about you!
You don’t have another option of definition, there is only one definition of who you are, anything else are either deceptions or voices of the deceived.
God does not have another opinion about you than who Jesus is, Jesus’ life is our life! Now! In order to experience it, we simply need to identify with Him completely (Galatians 2:20 MSG) and take His life personally!

3. Take Off Limitations.

“Our vision (what we believe) controls our perception, and our perception is our reality.” -Dewitt Jones. (My favorite quote last year)
In other words, people have miserable life because they believe they have one.
Happy people are those who agree with what God sees in them.
As it is displayed in Christ, we are containing the fullness of joy in us.
God only sees reality, our hearts:

·  To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.Col 1:27.

· But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles.Gal 1:15-16.

God’s image in us is an exact reflection of Jesus’ face. We are accurately designed to display Jesus’ glory and His resurrected, newness of life.

· When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4.

· When he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2.

· I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Rom 8:18-23.

· Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them…”Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.” Gen 9:6

Could it be that, Christ is in us all along?
Yes.
And that we are one with Him, we are exactly like Him always?
Yes Yes.
By dying for us as our substitute and as us as our true self (theologically, vicarious man), Jesus justified us and has restored us back to our original design. 2 Corinthians 5:21. Romans 5:18.
The New Creation began not when we pray the sinner’s prayer, it began when Christ was resurrected from the tomb. Ephesians 2:15. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

When we are confronted with this truth, we find out: as human, we have been more subjective than we think, we have been putting up with so many false realities and limitations, and justified them with our feelings or what we see with our eyes. We have been carrying Christ all the time, yet by following the world around us, either ignorance or insecurity is allowed to creep in to make sure we believe in the limitations that the world offers. The exciting GOOD NEWS is that: no more limitations, once we start to see ourselves clearly as who we are in Christ the Mirror!

· Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized. Act 9:18.

· Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory(Jesus is God’s glory, we reflect Christ on earth as we behold Him), are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2Co 3:15-18.

All limitations in our minds will fall off like scales, once we start to embrace our real self-image, which is God’s image and likeness. We have much more in us than we think. Christ-in-us wants to display the fullness of His glory in our human skin, in this age! And our cities and nations are waiting eagerly for us to know that we are sons of Abba, just like Jesus is! The first coming of Jesus reveals that, it is Abba’s decision to restore His image in us back to innocence, which He has already done it; and it is His work to reveal Christ in us from beginning to the fullness(Hebrews 12:2), which is what God(the Holy Spirit) is doing now(John 16:12-14).

4. Conclusion

There is ONE dictionary that is valid in Heaven and on earth.
No matter how real your negative feelings are, you are not defined by what you feel. Even if you feel rejected, even if you feel like a loser, even if you are full of dissatisfaction and despite about yourself…these feelings don’t define you; you are still a wanted one, a victor, a beloved child… SIMPLY & ONLY because God wants you, He fought for you and won your battles & your wars for you, and He is never angry with you, He likes & delights in you… His decision about you is the same yesterday, today and for ever(Hebrews 13:8). Only what God said in Christ is the only true and legal definition about us! When we behold the Son, we know that we are so eternally accepted, so infinitely loved, so hungrily wanted, so greatly blessed, so brimming life(zoe, G2222, absolute fullness of life (Thayer), in which no death can exist), so filled with love, so full of glory!!

This fundamental, simple truth-which is the main theme of the Bible-will set all man free: “As Jesus is, so are we ON THIS EARTH.”
True freedom is to be free from ego-centricness, true freedom is Christ-centric, Truth-centric, it’s Love-centric.

How to be consistent in this freedom that we experience?

· “His rest is sustained in you by what He sees, knows and says about you in reference to the finished work of Christ. Jesus is what God believes about you…Engage your thoughts with throne room realities.”–Francois Du Toit

The incarnation is continuing in us, let the untamed Lion of Tribe of Judah in you ROAR!

The Spiritual Fire

Thomas Merton is venerated by some as an (officially) unrecognized saint. In other circles he’s known as an Ascended Master. The more common view is that he was one of the great spiritual writers of the Twentieth Century.

”A happiness that is sought for ourselves alone can never be found: for a happiness that is diminished by being shared is not big enough to make us happy.”

“There is a false and momentary happiness in self-satisfaction, but it always leads to sorrow because it narrows and deadens our spirit. True happiness is found in unselfish love, a love which increases in proportion as it is shared. There is no end to the sharing of love, and, therefore, the potential happiness of such love is without limit. Infinite sharing is the law of God’s inner life. He has made the sharing of ourselves the law of our own being, so…

What happened on the cross.

The cancelation of guilt and condemnation.

There is no document of my sin, God does not remember my sin, it is destroyed!! I don’t have to pay any guilt payment, fear payment any longer. God does not and will not put any demand on me. I am free! Guilt and fear has no legal existence!

The way God dealt with sin is not to cover our sin with fig leaves, He killed a Lamb and used the blood of the Lamb to wash our whole being. The Lamb was Christ, He fully identified with corrupted man, He entered into the house to our core and bound our sin. He became sin on the cross, and He said, “Now is the judgment of the world.” Man has been judged, judgment day has come and gone, it was when Jesus being the vicarious man, our substitute, fully representing us before His own judgment seat. The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son(John 5:22), but Jesus as the Judge, judged humanity upon Himself, all punishment has been poured on Himself, humanity has been judged innocent and justified(Romans 5:19).

The cancelation of distance.

All distance has been cancelled, I don’t need to climb up to God, God came down to us! I don’t need to waste any second trying to have better relationship with God. The Father has sent out the invitation with pleading to us, calling us to the fellowship of the Son (1Corinthians 1:9). We can participate the eternal relationship the Son has with the Father today and now! No more self-cleansing, behavior modifying or book-keeping is needed to “improve” our relationship with God. We are already there! We are in Christ and we are now sharing the life of Christ, as He is our exact representation and reference. Christianity is not a spirituality-improvement club, it is a discovery channel and a celebration party. There is absolutely not anything between us and God, not even a veil(2Corinthians 3:18); we now meet our Father face-to-face, sharing His life and glory.

The Word became flesh.

God is perfectly holy, yet God isn’t too holy to look upon sin, humanity’s sin could not stop Him from gazing upon them (Habakkuk 1:13), He didn’t avoid looking at the sinful humanity when He said “I love you”. When humanity was in the depth of sin and disobedience, God didn’t run away or judge man, He came afar into the depth of sin and bore all the punishment of His own children (John 12:31). When the incarnation started, the Holy God began to be in union with the sinful humanity. God proclaimed His full acceptance to the humanity, God and man met in Jesus Christ, “Peace, fear not, Papa is with you now. And We will rescue you.” God “kissed a guilty world in love” (Song, Here is love).

Taking on man’s body, Jesus represented the whole human race. He lived perfectly under the law and fulfilled all righteousness as us and for us! We would be totally blameless even if the law weren’t put obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). Yet, He came to fulfill the law so as to proclaim the end of religion (Romans 10:4). We don’t relate to God by regulations now, we relate to Him by the Father-Child relationship established by Himself. Our choice doesn’t play any part in establishing this relationship; every human on earth is in the relationship of the Son with the Father. We can rest at anytime of our lives thinking “Papa is smiling at me, Papa likes me and loves me.”

Christ died our death as us. Our sinful nature ceased to live in the year 33 A.D. As Christ was buried, our sin was buried. Christ completely destroyed sin and guilt. We are all restored to innocence and freedom. Christ’s body was torn to invite us to enjoy freely the face-to-face relationship that we had always wanted.

God set Christ’s resurrection as a sign of our justification (Romans 4:25). We are justified and raised to Newness of Life!! We have Christ’s life in us waiting for us to continually explore and enjoy! We were resurrected and the resurrection life is in us. The incarnation continues in us. Christ in us the hope of glory. We are living a Life that we have always wanted.

All – The scope of God’s love.

For as in Adam all died, even so in Christ shall all be made alive(1 Corinthians 15:22).
All humanity was represented in Adam when he sinned, yet all humanity, with Adam included, was made alive when Christ was raised from the dead. Christ is the ultimate conclusion of the destination of all humanity.

Adam was a foreshadow pointing to someone to come (Romans 5:14).
Christ is the Last Adam (1Corinthians 15:45) that was to come.
He has come and He influenced all human race as Adam did, and much more!

Through Adam’s sin, man embraced separation from God(in our minds, Romans 8:7)and difference from God’s likeness.

Yet, Christ came as the Incarnated One, proceeded from the Father to accomplish salvation as it is said in Jesus’ own name (Isaiah 55:10-11). The first coming of Christ cancelled all separation and differences with one act. By Christ Jesus, we have received the atonement (Romans5:11), He is our full representative.

A “Much More” Life
For if through the offence of one many be dead, “much more” the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many(Romans 5:15).
What Adam did to humanity is merely an act of man comparing to the work of the cross as an act of the Almighty God. Adam’s influence is universal, Christ’s influence is “much more” effective.

In Adam, all sinned; “much more”, all are reconciled and saved in Christ (Romans 5:10).
In Adam, all was to be condemned and judged; “much more”, all are justified and brought into life in Christ (Romans 5:16).
In Adam, death reigned; “much more”, all that realize their identity shall reign in life in Christ (Romans 5:17).
In Adam, all were made sinners; “much more”, all are made righteous in Christ (Romans 5:18)

Romans 5:20 But where sin abounded(in the time of Adam), grace did “much more” abound(through one act of the cross).

All are called and chosen to reigned in life (Romans 5:21), God desires all man will see (Ephesians 3:9) and they will see their reconciliation happened in Christ (2Corinthians5:20); because God has made Christ who knew no sin to become sin for all, so all are made righteousness of God in Christ (2Corinthians5:21). He is so committed to our salvation and our relationship with Him. God is a Father with a loving heart and a strong commitment.

While the Law was given so every man will know how sinful they are, the Gospel is proclaimed so every man will see how loved, blessed, favored, healed, happy, resurrected…they are!

Each – The focus of His love.

God wants us!
God is constantly mindful of us, He wants to be involved in our lives on earth.
When the veil in the sanctuary was torn from top to bottom (Matthew 27:51), we know that God is inviting us to experience seeing Him face to face. No more separation, every one is invited to eat and drink of Him in His presence (in intimacy) (Isaiah 55:1-3). It is God’s will to cleanse us and make us qualified to enter into the Holy of Holies, we know that an Old Covenant Priest would die if there was a little bit of sin in the Holy of Holies. God made us completely clean and holy, with exactly no sin at all, not even a little of it. Yet we know that He forgave us so that we can fellowship with Him face to face(Hebrews 10:19). He planned step by step, from before the foundation of the world, He is captured by us, He wants us and He wants to “get” us! He desires us so much that He can even suffer and die for creating a new and living way. In Hebrews 10:20 “by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body.” His body is the curtain that was torn, His forgiveness is aggressive (Romans 5:20MSG), His desire for us is intense (John 17:24).

What is inside the living way?
We have entered through Jesus’ body.
As children are the fruits of love between and of their parents, our existence demonstrates God’s love within the Trinity and for us. There there are 3 Persons in the Trinity, yet only one God, it’s because the three Persons are in absolute union with one another. We have partaken the fellowship of Christ, with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We are woven into the trinity, it is our true position now, no matter we knew it or not. Within the Trinity, the three Persons are utterly sharing love and affection, it is an atmosphere of intimacy. In Christ, we are in oneness with the Father, and nothing is able to separate us, as this is a work of God and He holds us together with Himself. We are in absolute union with the Father and the Spirit, as much as Christ is in union with the Father and the Spirit. We are brought into eternity and an eternal circle of utter sharing of love.

God’s permanent commitment.

Religion starts with separation, bearing the fruits of strive, condemnation and death (2Corinthians3:7). Christianity starts with union, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace… (Galatians 5:22).

Jesus revealed a union that we have with the Father, it’s the success of the cross, God doesn’t need us to please to love us. We are spirits(John 3:6) restored to exactly the same as God, we are one with God(1Corinthians 6:17), with no separation in this age and the age to come as Christ the God-man is eternally our testimony. God’s eternal plan is to unite Himself with us, even if Adam hadn’t sin, He would still come in the fullness of time and to be ONE with us. His heart is burning with desire towards us. I am my beloved’s and He is mine(Song of Songs 2:16).

There is no place like home, the safest place in the whole universe is being with our Father. Jesus came to show us how united He is with the Father, let’s imagine the Father-Son relationship they have eternally, the Father is beaming love as the light without darkness and the Son is beaming love as the light without shadows, they are utterly giving love and life to each other. They don’t want only a touch of affection, they dwell in each other with warmth, joy and laughter. This is the fellowship of the Son with the Father. And this is where we are now, we are ushered into the fellowship of the Son, we are now partaking the relationship of the Father and the Son(1 Corinthians 1:9), God restored our true selves to be exactly like Himself so we are able to fellowship with Him just as the circle of the Triune God.

God has given everything to humanity, He is eternally in union with man, He has no other plans except man. When the work of redemption is accomplished, Christ is seated high above all principalities and power all names that can be named. Our Testimony of Union is seated far above all influence, and nothing can interrupt the fellowship between us and God. This union is not preserved by any human opinions, our choices or morally upright behaviors, this union is eternal and it is preserved by the very Self of the God-man, Christ Jesus. As if God is shouting, “I will cease to be God if you are not with Me.”

Jesus – fully God.

Write a short essay explaining why Jesus is the fullest and final revelation of who God is.

1. Jesus is the exact representative of the Father:
No one knows who the Father is, but the Son (Luke 10:22).
Jesus was face to face with the Father in the very beginning (John 1:1).
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him(John 1:18).
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Heb 1:1-3)

From the passages above, we can be sure that, before Jesus came, no one had seen the Father, no one has known the Father. Jesus has always been in the bosom of the Father, not only does He know the Father, but also He very intimately knows Him and is known by Him; not only for a short period, but from the very beginning! And Jesus came as the exact image and glory of the Father, to show us who the Father is exactly like, and to show Adam(humanity) what he has lost(glory).

2. Jesus Did Everything Out of Obedience:
Jesus did everything because He saw His Father did it. Even if He took on flesh, He lived as a human completely in right relationship with the Father(John 5:19). He lived out of union, He lived a life completely depending on the life of our Father. He did NOTHING out of Himself, Every movement, every action of his is taught by our Father.

Let’s see what Jesus did on earth:
He healed the sick;
He cleansed lepers;
He casted out demons and set them free;
He raised the dead;
He hung out with sinners and Pharisees;
He forgave an adulterous woman;
He showed compassion on those helpless without a shepherd;
He wept over Lazarus;
He was nailed on the tree;

Jesus did all these, because He saw our Father has done exactly the same.

Who is man?

Essence of man

The Number 1 nature of man is to be loved by the Trinity and to respond this love.

We are created in the exact image of God, we are alive when we are receiving, celebrating God’s love and responding it. Human is created in Love (We are created in Christ. Ephesians 2:10), every cell and flesh and bone are full of God’s affection and enjoyment.

I cannot think of an artist looking at his works of art with boredom. I write (in my own language), after finishing my works, I would just read it again and again thinking this is flowing from my heart, every word and sentence are carrying my emotions and wisdom. I just love them!

God is a poet (Ephesians 2:10) and we are His poems. And these works of art are complete. (John 19:30, Colossians 2:10, Colossians 4:12) I can see God looking at us with perfect affection and enjoyment, just as a poet reading His poems again and again finding no flaws or things to correct. We are carrying His emotions in us.

He is fully satisfied with us.
